The Worthy Matron and Patrons 5th wheel stranded them in Las Vegas so I’ll do the best I can getting what information that I have to you.
Membership - We will be having Initiation for 3 new members and 1 affiliated member on Tuesday June 7th. This is a special meeting as the Worthy Matron and Patron will be at Grand Lodge on our regular meeting night. This date could be changed but I’ll try to keep everyone posted. There will be an initiation practice on June 4th at 4:00 pm. All officers should attend.
Don’t forget that your dues for 2005-06 are now due and if they aren’t paid before the 31st of May they become delinquent and you will not be able to attend any chapter.. They are $25.00 a year. Please send to Marjorie Barnes, 26204 - 217th Ave SE, Maple Valley, WA. 98038.
May 7th Laurel Chapter, Diamond Lodge and Laurel Assembly will be having another plant and bulb sale. This time it will be in the Diamond Lodge Parking Lot. There are lots of beautiful plants and bulbs which would make a wonderful Mothers day gift. The sale will be from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
The Laurelite’s will be having a no host dinner honoring Jr. P. Matron Lilynne on May 26th at Krain Corner Restaurant at 6:00 pm. This is located on the Black Diamond - Enumclaw Highway. 39929 - 264th Ave SE, Enumclaw. All Laurel Chapter members and their escorts are welcome. If you plan on attending please call Margie at 425-432-9308 or secretary@laurel47.org* so we can give the restaurant an idea of how many might be there. On August 14th all Laurel Chapter Members and their families will be having a pot-luck picnic at Gil and Jeannette Carroll’s home - (31025 E. Lake Morton Drive SE), at 2:00 p.m. Please mark you calendars and keep this date open for a relaxing & fun day at the beach.
