Fundraising Activities -- Haunted Forest
As of this writing, I would like to extent a BIG thank you to all the many people who helped out on the Haunted Forest concession stand at the Royal Arch Park in Maple Valley for the 6-night event. Special thanks go to: Leslie Donat, chairman of the event and her daily appearances. By the second night, we had already surpassed our operating cost and are well into having set a new record. Thank you All who participated!
Have you talked about STAR today? Laurel Chapter has had 7 petitions this year, and with your help we can even get more. Remember, OES is a wonderful organization dedicated to charity, truth and loving kindness. Let us build on prospering the Chapter and becoming a prominent example in our communities.

Honor Night for our Deputy Instructor, Jeannette Carroll. Laurel members are invited to the dinner before @ 6:00 pm. Work party at Margie’s at 10:00 am on Thursday the 3rd. This will be a "Short Form Opening" with no business.
Nov 10th @ 7:30 pm -- Top 8 Friends Night -- Long Form
LAUREL CHAPTER WILL HONOR OUR VETERANS ON NOVEMBER 12TH WITH A DINNER --
We will be honoring our Veterans with a "spaghetti dinner and program" on Nov. 12th starting at 5:30 pm. Our own Laurel Catering is in charge of the event, and hopefully one that will be a tradition from now on. For reservations, please call Margie Barnes at (number deleted) before the 9th. Work party for this event will be at Margie’s at 11:00 am on the 12th. We need your help Please call Betty Wirth if you would like to help with the dinner at (number deleted).
Remember, Veterans are Free but ALL are welcome!! A $7.00 donation for non veterans.
